An Ardmore Master Suite, Reconfigured Around Accessibility

A senior couple needed a bedroom, bathroom, and closet that worked together. We redesigned the whole relationship between the rooms, incorporated the old hallway bathroom into the suite, and rebuilt it around access, mobility, and comfort.

The Project

A Suite Redesigned Around Access and Daily Comfort

The homeowners were a senior couple, and the layout was working against them. The bedroom, bathroom, and closet were outdated and disconnected. There was no easy path from the bedroom to the bathroom, and none of the accessibility their comfort called for. The three rooms needed to work as one connected suite.

So we redesigned how they related to each other:

Closed the old hallway bathroom door
Opened a new entry from the master bedroom to bring that bathroom into the suite
Completed a full gut renovation and reconfigured the plumbing
Relocated the shower, toilet, and vanity around better access and mobility

The finished suite adds custom tile work, custom walk-in closet built-ins, and a custom TV feature wall with openings on both sides into the closet, which then connects through to the master bathroom.

It reflects how we work: understand the homeowner’s real needs, redesign around function and accessibility, coordinate the build from concept to completion, and deliver a space made for comfort, mobility, and design.

We had to get our tall cabinets customized to have them wrap a sewer line inside. Craftsmanship was exceptional and attention to detail was so precise!
