A busy family needed one finished space that could do it all, fitness, work, recreation, and everyday use, guided by one company from planning through completion. We turned an unfinished 3,000 sq. ft. basement into an industrial-style lower level with clearly defined zones.

The Project

One Unfinished Space, Reworked Into Zones That Fit the Family

The homeowners had a large unfinished basement and no finished space for the way their family actually lives. Kids in sports, two busy working parents, and one lower level that needed to handle fitness, work, recreation, and daily use. They also wanted a single company to guide the whole thing, not a stack of contractors to manage separately.

We managed the project from planning through completion, converting the 3,000 sq. ft. space into an industrial-style finished basement with four dedicated zones:

Workout room
Office
Sauna
Open family space

The build ran across every major phase: new electrical throughout, framing, insulation, drywall, primer, and paint. To hold the industrial direction, we used dryfall paint on the exposed ceiling joists, keeping the ceiling height while giving the space a finished, intentional look.

The result is our general contracting approach in one project: take a large unfinished space, define clear zones, coordinate every phase, and deliver a basement built around how the family actually lives.
