A Center City Master Bath, Designed Before a Wall Was Touched

The homeowner wanted a master bathroom that felt intentional and fully designed from the start. We began with high-resolution 3D renderings, then rebuilt the room to the studs into a custom retreat anchored by a 140-inch vanity and continuous, veined large-format tile.

The Project

Designed First, Then Built to Match the Renderings Exactly

The existing master bathroom had been renovated fairly recently, but it never reflected the homeowner’s taste or the scale of the Spruce Street home. She wanted something different from the start: a bathroom that felt intentional, unique, and fully designed before any construction began.

So we started with design, not demolition. High-resolution 3D renderings let her review the full layout, tile direction, vanity placement, and lighting plan before a single decision was locked in. Once the design was approved, the existing bathroom came down to the studs.

The rebuild was planned around detail and privacy:

Plumbing reconfiguration for the new layout
A boxed ceiling for LED strip lighting and spotlights
A custom shower bench and a wall-to-wall niche extending toward the toilet
A pony wall to give the toilet its own privacy

At the center is a custom 140-inch vanity with a makeup area, built with hidden electrical outlets inside the cabinetry for a cleaner finish. The room is wrapped in continuous large-format tile with carefully matched veining, custom tile work on the vanity wall, and marble floor tile.

It’s our guided remodeling approach at a high level: design first, coordinate every detail, prepare the space correctly, and deliver a bathroom that feels planned, personal, and complete.
